I’m Chris Riley, and I am a software engineer with a strong background in Linguistics. I’ve always been interested in NLP, but for some reason my professional experience keeps pushing me toward straight engineering. This blog is a record of my attempt to keep up with my NLP skills.

The blog itself uses Jekyll for static page generation. It’s pretty nice, and it’s made me learn some things about Ruby even though I’m primarily a Python and Javascript developer.
